Rider Killed in Sacramento Accident on Fruitridge Road and Nona Way

Sacramento, California (April 27, 2023) – A motorcyclist died following a collision with a vehicle in Sacramento on Thursday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The wreck happened near Fruitridge Road and Nona Way.

CHP said a vehicle was heading eastbound off Fruitridge Way when it turned left and collided with the motorcyclist.

The rider of the motorcycle died at the scene.

The driver of the sedan remained at the scene after the accident and cooperated with the investigators.

Alcohol or drugs were not suspected to be a factor in the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
