Milpitas, CA.- A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a vehicle in Milpitas on Friday afternoon, according to the Milpitas Police Department.
The incident took place in the 1500 block of Kennedy Drive at about 2:38 p.m. May 9.
According to police, a motorcycle rider collided with another vehicle in the area under unclear circumstances.
The 48-year-old motorcyclist was rushed to a hospital, where the victim was later pronounced deceased.
The driver of the other vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
Drugs and alcohol were not suspected to have played a role in the incident.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
