Tacoma, WA.- A motorcyclist was killed in a crash that happened in Tacoma on Thursday, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The wreck happened on Interstate 5, just north of South 56th Street.
According to WSP, a car and a motorcycle crashed on northbound I-5 after one of them tried to change lanes.
The impact of the crash ejected the motorcycle rider onto I-5 south.
The motorcyclist was killed in the accident.
Two I-5 southbound lanes and one northbound lane were temporarily closed following the incident.
The Washington State Patrol is handling the investigation.
