Rider Injured in Santa Clara Motorcycle Accident on State Route 237 near Great America Parkway On-Ramp

Santa Clara, California (May 23, 2023) – A motorcyclist sustained minor injuries after colliding with a car Monday morning in Santa Clara, the California Highway Patrol said.

The incident happened at around 9:21 a.m. on the westbound State Route 237, just west of the Great America Parkway on-ramp.

A gray motorcycle collided with a blue Tesla for an unknown reason.

The rider was up and walking after the crash and moved the motorcycle to the center divider.

Firefighters responded to the scene and blocked the No. 4 lane.

The rider suffered minor injuries in the accident.

CHP is investigating to establish the cause of the crash.
