Rider Injured in Victorville Crash on Amethyst Road

Victorville, California (March 17, 2023) – A motorcyclist was seriously hurt in a collision in Victorville Thursday afternoon, according to authorities.

The wreck happened at around 12:40 p.m. March 16, on Amethyst Road and Taurus Lane.

Authorities said a 22-year-old man was riding a motorcycle northbound on Amethyst Road when he crashed into the rear of a black SUV.

The impact caused the rider to be thrown into the air and was hit by another vehicle. The motorcycle was hit by a third vehicle.

 The rider was airlifted to a hospital with major injuries.

No other injuries were reported.

Authorities are working to determine the cause of the collision.
