Rider Hurt in 80 Freeway Motorcycle Collision near Lynch Road in Solano County

Solano County, California (March 4, 2023) – A motorcyclist was hurt in a Friday afternoon traffic collision that happened on 80 Freeway in Solano County.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at about 2:35 p.m. on the eastbound side of the freeway near Lynch Road.

First responders found a black 2021 Honda CMX500 motorcycle and a red truck involved in the accident.

Responding paramedics said the motorcyclist sustained minor abrasions. It was unclear if the rider was hospitalized.

Authorities are investigating to establish the cause of the accident.
