<strong>Motorcyclist Ejected Seriously Injured in San Diego Crash<strong>

San Diego, California (May 17, 2022) – A 50-year-old man is nursing serious injuries after being ejected from his motorcycle in a Monday afternoon crash in San Diego, as per a local news source.

The accident happened at about 3:15 p.m. in the 4200 block of Mission Bay Drive and involved a 2003 Honda Magna and a 2011 Chevrolet Impala.

Police said the 72-year-old driver of the Chevy was making a U-turn starting in a parked position from the west curb of the road when the motorcyclist crashed into the car.

The rider was ejected from his motorcycle after the impact. He sustained a collapsed lung and several rib fractures.

The Chevy driver was not hurt.

Authorities said alcohol or drugs were not thought to be factors contributing to the accident.

An investigation is ongoing.
