A 64-year-old Fowler man was riding a 2006 Kawasaki Vulcan motorcycle south on Fairmead Boulevard when he tried to overtake a 2008 GMC Yukon

Madera County, CA.- A motorcyclist died days after being involved in a collision late last month in Madera County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash took place at around 8:39 p.m. July 27, on Fairmead Boulevard south of Gordon Street.
A 64-year-old Fowler man was riding a 2006 Kawasaki Vulcan motorcycle south on Fairmead Boulevard when he tried to overtake a 2008 GMC Yukon.
The Yukon driver made a turn into a private drive and was hit on the side by the motorcyclist.
The rider was rushed to Community Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased on Thursday, July 31.
The driver of the Yukon, a 33-year-old Chowchilla woman, and her two children were unhurt.
The crash remained under investigation.
