Rider Seriously Injured in Hesperia Motorcycle Accident at Maple Avenue and Sycamore Street

Hesperia, California (May 16, 2023) – A motorcyclist was airlifted to a trauma center after being injured in a car crash on Saturday night in Hesperia.

According to the San Bernardino County Fire Department, the accident happened at the intersection of Maple Avenue and Sycamore Street at around 8:30 p.m., on May 13.

A Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck was traveling eastbound on Sycamore and was going through the intersection and collided with a black Harley Davidson motorcycle traveling southbound on Maple.

The motorcycle rider sustained severe injuries and was transported to Desert Valley Hospital before being airlifted to Loma Linda University Medical Center.

The driver of the Silverado was unhurt.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
