A 44-year-old Santa Ana woman was driving a silver 2014 Honda Accord westbound on Edinger Avenue when she swerved across the center divider and crashed head-on with an oncoming white Lexus RX

Huntington Beach, CA.- Monica Tran has been identified as the 15-year-old Westminster girl who was killed in multi-vehicle crash in Huntington Beach on Sunday night, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Department.
The wreck happened just before 8:15 p.m. August 17, at Edinger Avenue and Beach Boulevard.
According to the Huntington Beach Police Department, a 44-year-old Santa Ana woman was driving a silver 2014 Honda Accord westbound on Edinger Avenue when she swerved across the center divider and crashed head-on with an oncoming white Lexus RX.
One of the vehicles was also involved in a collision with a silver Lexus GS.
The woman driving the Accord and her two passengers, identified as 15-year-old girls, were taken to a hospital with major injuries.
One of the teens, later identified as Monica Tran, was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
The other two drivers suffered minor injuries.
According to the Huntington police, the driver of the Accord was suspected of DUI.
The accident is under investigation.
