According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 9:50 a.m. on southbound Interstate 605, just north of Slauson Avenue.
Authorities said three vehicles were involved in the crash.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and helped at least one person who suffered minor injuries.
CHP officers did not immediately determine the cause of the collision, but an investigation is ongoing.
