At Least 1 Hurt in San Jose Collision on Interstate 280 near Lawrence Expressway On-Ramp

San Jose, California (March 2, 2023) – At least one person was hurt in a motorcycle accident that happened Wednesday afternoon on a freeway in San Jose, the California Highway Patrol said.

The incident took place at around 3:20 p.m. on southbound Interstate 280, just north of the Lawrence Expressway on-ramp.

A motorcycle and two cars were involved in the collision.

Responding emergency personnel said the accident left at least one person with minor injuries.

The Nos. 1, 2, and 3 lanes remained blocked as authorities investigated.
