Marana, AZ.- A man who was hit and killed by a vehicle earlier this month in Marana has been identified as 81-year-old Miguel Martinez, according to the Marana Police Department.
At about 5:57 p.m. November 17, police were called to the scene of a crash near West Moore Road and North Sanders Road.
The MPD reported that Martinez was walking on West Moore Road outside of the crosswalk when he was hit by a westbound Toyota Rav4.
Martinez was transported to a hospital, where he was declared deceased the next day.
The involved driver stayed at the scene and was not suspected to have been impaired.
The incident is under investigation.
