One Injured in Merced County Crash on Westside Boulevard and Griffith Avenue
Merced County, California (April 19, 2022) – One person was injured in a collision involving a big rig in Merced County on Tuesday evening, according to California Highway Patrol.
The wreck happened on Westside Boulevard and Griffith Avenue at around 4:54 p.m.
A man in his 30s was reportedly driving a sedan eastbound on Westside Boulevard when he collided with cultivation discs towed on the westbound side by a big rig.

The driver of the sedan was taken to a regional hospital with major injuries.
The other motorist was uninjured in the accident.
Alcohol and drugs were not suspected to have played a role in the crash.
An investigation into the collision is underway.
