Matthew Cunnington Killed in Crash on SR 26 and South Marcellus Road in Adams County

WSP said Cunnington was driving a southbound when he failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection and collided with a semi and trailer traveling west

Matthew Cunnington Identified as Driver Killed in Adams County Crash on SR 26 and South Marcellus Road

Adams County, WA.- Matthew L. Cunnington, 24, of Dayton, was killed in a car collision in Adams County on Thursday morning.

According to a report by the Washington State Patrol, the crash was reported shortly after 11 a.m. November 20, on and South Marcellus Road.

WSP said Cunnington was driving a truck southbound when he failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection and collided with a semi and trailer traveling west.

Cunnington was killed in the collision.

The driver of the big rig, Manuel Diaz, 39, of Yakima, was uninjured in the crash.

It's unclear whether alcohol or drugs were factors in the crash.

The Washington State Patrol is conducting an investigation into the incident.
