Mark Kingman and Mariam El Hindawi Killed in Buxton Crash on Highway 26
Buxton, Oregon (February 5, 2023) – Two people were killed in a car crash in Buxton, Washington County, early Friday morning.
The accident happened on Highway 26 near Northwest Ridge Road at around 12 p.m., according to the Oregon State Police.
A vehicle was traveling west on Highway 26 when the driver veered across the centerline and collided head-on in unclear circumstances.
One driver identified as 69-year-old Mark Kingman of Brinnon, was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The driver of the second vehicle, Zeinab Muhieddine Kabbani McBoul, 52, of Seaside, was seriously injured in the accident.
A passenger in the second car, identified as 92-year-old Mariam El Hindawi of Seaside, was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries and later died.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
