Marilynn Asch Killed in Car Accident at Soldin Lane and Olde Highway 80 in El Cajon
San Diego, California (May 21, 2023) – 70-year-old Marilynn Asch has been identified by the San Diego Department of the Medical Examiner as the woman who died in hospital after being involved in a car crash earlier this month in El Cajon.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the fatal crash happened at Soldin Lane and Olde Highway 80 at around 1 p.m. on May 3.
Asch was driving an Infiniti sedan northbound on Soldin Lane when she collided with another vehicle traveling westbound on Olde Highway 80.
The El Cajon woman suffered major injuries and was transported to the hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries on May 16.
Additional information about the accident was not provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
