Manuel Sanchez-Navarrette Killed in Pinal County Crash near North White and Parker Road

Pinal County, Arizona (April 12, 2023) – Manuel Sanchez-Navarrette, 23, was killed in a car crash that left two other people injured near Stanfield in Pinal County on Monday morning.

At around 10 a.m., the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office received reports of a traffic collision near West Louis Johnson Drive and North White and Parker Road.

Two vehicles were involved in a head-on collision, but the events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.

Sanchez-Navarrette was driving one of the two vehicles and was pronounced dead at the accident scene.

Ak-Chin Fire Department and the Maricopa Fire and Medical airlifted one injured person to the hospital.

A third person was transported by ground ambulance.

Driver impairment was not suspected to be a factor in the crash.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
