Two Killed in Fresno County Crash on East Conejo and South Peach Avenues

Fresno County, California (February 19, 2023) – Two people were killed in a crash with a train in Fresno County on Sunday afternoon, according to the authorities.

The incident occurred on East Conejo and South Peach avenues shortly before 3 p.m.

A man was driving a sedan when he went around the downed crossing arms and was struck by a northbound train.

The sedan’s driver and a woman riding as a passenger in the car were killed in the collision.

It’s unclear whether alcohol or drugs played any role in the accident.

The occupants of the train were uninjured.

Roads in the area were shut down as the California Highway Patrol investigated the crash.
