Man Dies in Phoenix Pedestrian Accident on 7th and Mohave Streets

Phoenix, Arizona (February 5, 2023) – A man died after he was hit by a vehicle early Saturday morning in Phoenix, authorities said.

The incident took place at around 3:45 a.m. on 7th Street and Mohave Street, just off Interstate 17.

A preliminary investigation indicated that the man was trying to cross 7th Street mid-block when he was struck by a car heading north on 7th Street.

Emergency responders took the man to a hospital, where he died from his injuries.

The driver of the car stopped and cooperated with investigators.

Police said they do not suspect the driver was impaired during the accident.
