Man Killed and Woman Injured in Vantage Car Crash at SR 243 and SR 26

Vantage, Washington (May 13, 2023) – A man died and a woman was hospitalized after being injured in a collision near Vantage in Grant County on Friday evening.

According to the Washington State Patrol, the accident happened on northbound State Route 243 at State Route 26.

Officials say a vehicle was driving through the intersection and was T-boned by another car.

A man in the car that was T-boned was pronounced dead at the accident scene.

A woman in the same car was airlifted to the Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

A man driving the other car was unhurt.

WSP says the cause of the crash was caused by failure to yield.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
