Man Killed in Santa Monica Crash on 10 Freeway at McClure Tunnel

Santa Monica, California (August 15, 2021) – A man was killed in a Saturday evening multi-vehicle accident in Santa Monica, authorities said.

The deadly accident occurred at about 5:46 p.m., on August 14, on Santa Monica (10) Freeway at McClure Tunnel.

According to the California Highway Patrol, several vehicles collided on the freeway in unclear circumstances.

Sadly, the man who was in one of the vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene.

Traffic on the roadway was stopped for an unknown period due to the collision.

Further details regarding the accident were not immediately available.

The crash remains under investigation.
