Santa Ana, CA – A man was killed Wednesday night in a bicycle accident in Santa Ana, according to the Santa Ana Police Department.
The deadly accident was reported around 11:35 p.m. on August 27 in the area of Grand Avenue at Grovemont Street.
Police said the man was on a bicycle when he was struck by a vehicle.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.
The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
Impairment was not a factor in the accident.
The accident closed all lanes of Grand between Fairhaven and Santa Clara avenues for several hours.
The police are conducting the investigation.
