Man Dies After Being Hit by Car at Ramon Road and Crossley Road in Palm Springs

Palm Springs, California (May 6, 2023) – Police in Palm Springs are investigating a deadly pedestrian accident that happened Thursday night at Ramon and Crossley roads.

The crash happened at about 9:45 p.m. and left the victim dead at the scene.

Emergency personnel responded shortly after receiving reports of the accident and found the pedestrian unresponsive in the roadway.

The man was pronounced dead.

The driver involved was cooperative with investigators.

Alcohol or drugs did not appear to be contributing factors.

Police closed the roadway near the collision scene for about four hours. The roadway was reopened shortly after 2 a.m. Friday.
