A bicyclist was reportedly hit by a vehicle in the area under unclear circumstances
Twentynine Palms, CA.- A man was killed in a bicycle accident in Twentynine Palms on Monday afternoon, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department.
The incident took place in the 5100 block of Adobe Road at around 12:51 p.m. August 25.
A bicyclist was reportedly hit by a vehicle in the area under unclear circumstances.
Witnesses tried to perform life-saving measures on the bicyclist.
Medics responded to the scene and the rider was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The northbound and southbound lanes of Adobe Road were shut down as authorities worked to clear the scene.
The accident is under investigation.
