A woman was driving a black Hyundai Ionic on I-280 when she lost control and crashed into the center median

Potrero Hill, CA.- A man was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Potrero Hill on Saturday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place on Interstate 280 near the Cesar Chavez Street off-ramp at about 7:10 a.m. August 9.
A woman was driving a black Hyundai Ionic on I-280 when she lost control and crashed into the center median.
The two occupants of the vehicle were rescued and medics performed life-saving measures on them.
The passenger, a Santa Clara County man in his 30s, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver was transported to a hospital with major injuries.
The CHP reported that alcohol or drugs were not suspected to have played a role in the incident but speed is believed to be a factor.
The investigation is ongoing.
