Scooter Rider Hurt in Newport Beach Accident on Newport Boulevard 

Newport Beach, California (April 19, 2023) – A man was injured while riding a scooter in Newport Beach on Sunday afternoon, according to the Newport Beach Police Department.

The crash happened just before 3:55 p.m. April 16 on Newport Boulevard just north of 32nd Street.

A man was riding a scooter when he was hit by a vehicle with two occupants.

The rider was rushed to a hospital with significant injuries.

The occupants of the vehicle were not injured in the accident and stayed at the scene after the collision.

The authorities are working to determine what led up to the collision.
