Man Hurt in Chula Vista Crash on Nacion Avenue 

Chula Vista, California (March 13, 2023) – A man was injured when a vehicle went off the roadway and struck him at his home in Chula Vista on Saturday morning, according to authorities.

The incident happened at around 7:58 a.m. March 11, at 934 Nacion Avenue.

A Toyota SUV traveling north on Nacion Avenue hydroplaned across the traffic lanes for unspecified reasons.

As the driver tried to overcorrect, the SUV spun and went across the street, striking a Chula Vista man who was cutting down weeds outside his house.

The victim was rushed to a hospital with unspecified injuries.

The SUV driver was not injured.

Authorities are investigating the collision.
