Authorities responded to Marks and Clinton avenues after they received reports of a pedestrian versus car accident at about 11:30 p.m.
The responders found a man with injuries. The pedestrian was hospitalized in an unknown condition.
The driver pulled over in a nearby parking lot and returned to the crash scene.
Impairment is not thought to be a contributing factor.
