1 Killed in Torrance Car Accident at Carson Street and Western Avenue
Torrance, California (April 17, 2023) – A man was hit and killed by a car early Sunday morning in Torrance, the Torrance Police Department said.
The incident occurred just after 2 a.m. at Carson Street and Western Avenue.
Paramedics responded to the scene and took the victim to the hospital. The man died while receiving treatment.
The driver involved stopped and cooperated with investigators. The motorist was not impaired.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
