2 Critically Injured in Car Accident on 14 Freeway near Escondido Canyon Rd in Santa Clarita
Los Angeles, California (March 4, 2023) – Two people were critically in a multi-vehicle collision involving a wrong-way driver on Saturday morning in Santa Clarita.
The crash happened on the Antelope Valley (14) Freeway at the Escondido Canyon Road off-ramp at about 9:20 a.m.
The California Highway Patrol says a white Toyota Tacoma pickup truck traveling southbound in the northbound lanes triggered a multi-vehicle collision on the freeway.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the incident and extricated at least one person who was trapped in the wreckage.
Two people had critical injuries and were rushed to the hospital for treatment.
Two other people were hospitalized with minor injuries.
