1 Seriously Injured in Coalinga Car Crash on 5 Freeway near Mountain View Avenue

Fresno, California (May 3, 2023) – Authorities are investigating a major injury car crash that happened in Coalinga early Wednesday morning.

According to a statement by the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on the northbound 5 Freeway near Mountain View Avenue at around 1:55 a.m.

Two vehicles were involved in the collision, but the sequence of events leading up to the accident was not immediately established.
