1 Seriously Injured in Hesperia Car Crash on 15 Freeway near Cleghorn Road

Cajon Pass, California (February 28, 2023) – One person was hospitalized with major injuries following a two-vehicle collision on Tuesday afternoon in Hesperia.

According to San Bernardino Fire Department, the accident happened on the northbound Interstate 15 Freeway near the Cleghorn Road exit at around 1:24 p.m.

A white GMC Yukon and a white Honda HR-V collided on the freeway for unknown reasons. The officers who responded to the incident found the GMC on its roof with major front-end damage.

One person was transported to the hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

All lanes of the freeway were temporarily closed as officers cleared the scene.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the accident.
