1 Seriously Injured in Fiery Fresno Car Crash on Highway 99 near Jensen Avenue

Fresno, California (February 24, 2023) – Authorities are investigating a major injury car crash that happened in Fresno on Friday morning.

The accident was reported around 8:34 a.m. on Highway 99 near Jensen Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Two vehicles were involved in the crash. The collision sent one vehicle off the roadway where it struck a tree. One car caught fire after the collision.

CHP says at least one person was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
