Injuries Reported in Piru Accident on Highway 126 

Piru, California (April 13, 2023) – Injuries were reported in a traffic collision on Wednesday afternoon west of Piru, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The wreck happened on Highway 126 at Honey Lane at around 1:45 p.m. April 12.

CHP said an EJ Harrison trash truck and a dump truck were involved in the collision on the westbound lanes of the highway.

The trash truck rolled over and spilled garbage on the roadway.

Major injuries were reported in the incident.

The CHP is working to determine the cause of the collision.
