At Least 1 Severely Injured in 3-Vehicle Collision on Interstate 10 near Haugen Lehmann Way in Whitewater

Major Injuries Sustained in Whitewater car crash on Interstate 10

Whitewater, California (March 6, 2023) – At least one person sustained major injuries in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Monday morning in Whitewater, the California Highway Patrol said.

The incident was reported at around 6:29 a.m. on eastbound Interstate 10 near Haugen Lehmann Way.

The California Highway Patrol said three vehicles were involved in the accident.

At least one person was seriously injured in the collision.

Traffic on the eastbound side backed up for about four miles following the accident.

A separate crash that occurred in the same area was also slowing traffic.

CHP officers are investigating.
