Two-Vehicle Collision on State Route 86 in Imperial County Leaves At Least 1 Seriously Hurt

Imperial County, California (April 20, 2023) – At least one person was seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision that happened Wednesday afternoon in Imperial County, the California Highway Patrol said.

The wreck occurred at about 12:46 p.m. on southbound Highway 86 near Salton City.

Two vehicles collided for unknown reasons, one of them ending up in a ditch.

At least one person sustained serious injuries in the accident.

Authorities are investigating to establish the cause of the collision.
