Fowler, California (February 15, 2023) – At least one person sustained severe injuries in a big rig accident that happened Tuesday afternoon at an intersection in Fowler, the California Highway Patrol said.

The wreck took place at around 5:26 p.m. at S De Wolf Avenue and E South Avenue.

CHP officers said a black Mustang collided with a semi-truck loaded with 76,000 pounds of produce under unclear circumstances.

PG&E power line was also hit in the crash.

At least one person suffered severe injuries in the collision.

PG&E officials responded to the scene to repair the power lines.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
