At Least One Seriously Injured in Antelope Valley Collision on Highway 138 at 233rd Street

Antelope Valley, California (April 14, 2023) – At least one person was seriously injured in a Friday afternoon crash involving semi-trucks on State Route 138 at 233rd Street in Antelope Valley.

The traffic collision happened around 3:24 p.m. on Eastbound State Route 138, just east of 233rd Street.

A blue dump truck versus a white semi-truck was involved in the accident. The manner in which they collided was not stated. Both vehicles were blocking westbound lanes.

Gravel was spilled in both lanes of the roadway, and a sweeper was requested at the scene to clear it.

The CHP says at least one person suffered severe injuries in the crash.

A tow truck was requested for the accident site.

SigAlert was issued, closing the west and eastbound lanes of Highway 138 at 233rd Street, diverting the traffic on 263rd Street.
