Palmdale, CA. – Major injuries were reported in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Monday afternoon in Palmdale, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident took place around 4:48 p.m. on northbound Highway 14 just north of East Palmdale Boulevard.
According to CHP, a Toyota Prius, a Jeep Cherokee, a gold hatchback, and a fourth car were involved in the crash.
At least one of the vehicles was occupied by children.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene.
At least one person sustained major injuries. The person was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
