Tulare, CA. – At least one person was injured in a hit-and-run accident that happened Friday afternoon in Tulare, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident occurred around 5:21 p.m. on southbound Highway 99 at exit 91.
A van reportedly rolled over and ended up blocking the slow lane after colliding with another vehicle that fled the scene.
An off-duty Tulare County Sheriff's Office deputy who was in the area arrived at the scene before first responders.
At least one person suffered major injuries in the crash. Paramedics transported the victim to the hospital in unknown condition.
Authorities are investigating the crash.
