Fremont, CA. – At least one person sustained major injuries in a multi-vehicle collision that happened early Sunday morning on a freeway in Fremont, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident took place around 12:52 a.m. on northbound Interstate 880, just south of Fremont Boulevard.
About four vehicles were involved in the crash.
An off-duty Emergency Medical Technician was at the scene assisting the motorists before emergency personnel responded.
At least one person suffered major injuries in the accident. Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and helped the victim.
CHP officers are investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
