At Least 1 Seriously Hurt in Head-On Collision on Dry Creek Road in Auburn

Auburn, California (April 12, 2023) – At least one person was severely injured in a head-on collision that happened Tuesday afternoon in Auburn, the California Highway Patrol said.

The incident was reported at about 3:37 p.m. on eastbound Dry Creek Road, just east of Black Oak Road.

A silver BMW SUV and a dark silver Toyota Landcruiser were involved in the accident.

At least one person suffered major injuries in the collision. Emergency personnel responded to the scene and transported the patient to the hospital in an unknown condition.

Both lanes of Dry Creek Road were temporarily closed following the wreck.
