Lynwood, California (May 16, 2022) – Three people were hospitalized after a Lynwood car crash that happened Saturday evening on 710 Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The pileup was reported at around 6:50 p.m. in the southbound lanes, just north of 105 Freeway.

A Nissan Frontier, a Honda Pilot and a Mercedes sedan were involved in the accident. The vehicles were blocking traffic lanes after the collision.

Paramedics responded to the scene and transported three people to the hospital. The patients sustained unspecified injuries.

The Honda acquired major front-end damage, the Mercedes sustained major rear-end damage and the Nissan acquired a broken axel. All vehicles were towed away from the scene.

CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
