Luis Aldave Identified as Man Killed in Car Accident at Winnetka Avenue in Los Angeles
Los Angeles, California (February 12, 2023) – Luis Aldave Hernandez, 28, of Winnetka, has been identified as the man who was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Thursday morning in Chatsworth, Los Angeles, according to the coroner’s office.
At around 6:07 a.m., on February 9, the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the scene of a traffic collision in the 8900 block of North Winnetka Avenue.
Two sedans reportedly collided at the intersection in unclear circumstances. The impact of the collision sent one of the cars into the yard of a nearby home.
Aldave was trapped in one of the cars and had to be extricated by the firefighters.
Sadly, Aldave succumbed to injuries at the scene.
The driver of the second car suffered minor injuries but declined medical treatment.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
