Garden Grove, CA – A 34-year-old rider died Sunday morning after colliding with a suspected DUI driver in Garden Grove, according to the Garden Grove Police Department.
The deadly collision happened at about 9:42 a.m. in the 9100 block of Garden Grove Boulevard near Cannery Street.
The Garden Grove Police Department said a 2005 Suzuki motorcycle and a 2001 Honda Odyssey were involved in the crash.
Orange County Fire Authority crews responded and pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene. The deceased rider was only identified as a 34-year-old Long Beach man.
The driver of the Honda Odyssey, a 28-year-old Garden Grove man, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, authorities said.
The crash remains under investigation.
