Redwood City, California (November 22, 2022) – Kyle Harrison, 23, was among two people arrested following a crash that left a couple dead in Redwood City earlier this month.

Just before 8 p.m. on November 4, Harrison and a 17-year-old Redwood City boy are suspected to have been racing in the area of El Camino Real and Finger Avenue when the teen collided with a vehicle occupied by Grace Ammen, her husband Gregg Ammen, and their twin 7-year-old girls.

The parents died in the crash while the girls were hospitalized with major injuries.

On November 18, the teenage driver was arrested and booked into the San Mateo County Youth Services Center.

Harrison was arrested at his home and was booked into the San Mateo County Jail. 

The Redwood City Police Department is investigating the incident.

Redwood City, California (November 5, 2022) – Two people were killed in a car collision that occurred in Redwood City on Friday evening, according to the Redwood City Police Department.

The collision occurred on El Camino Real and Finger Avenue at around 7:56 p.m. November 4.

Police said two cars were suspected to have been racing in the area when one of them collided with a third vehicle.

One of the vehicles burst into flames following the crash.

The driver of the vehicle that caught fire and two passengers in that vehicle were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver and passenger in the second vehicle were trapped and were pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Redwood City Police Department is investigating the collision.
