Huntington Beach, CA – A 20-year-old man was killed in an e-bike accident in Huntington Beach late Saturday night.
The deadly crash happened at about 10 p.m. on August 2 in the area of Pacific Coast Highway (Hwy. 1) and Seapoint Street.
Huntington Beach police said an unidentified 20-year-old man Huntington Beach man was driving a Toyota Tacoma southbound on Highway 1 with Kolby Aipa of Huntington Beach on an e-bike hanging onto it.
Reportedly, when the driver lost control of the Tacoma, the e-bike and truck collided.
Apia suffered severe injuries and later died.
The incident remains under investigation.
