Kil Padua Killed in Pedestrian Accident at Camino Ruiz and Westmore Road in San Diego
San Diego, California (May 4, 2023) – 81-year-old Kil Chang Padua has been identified as the elderly woman who died after being hit by a car last month in Mira Mesa.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal pedestrian accident happened at the intersection of Camino Ruiz and Westmore Road around 7 a.m.
A vehicle was reportedly making a left turn at the intersection when it struck the woman.
Padua was seriously injured and was transported to Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla where she succumbed to her injuries, according to the San Diego Medical Examiner’s Office.
No other injuries were reported.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
