The deadly crash happened at about 2:50 p.m. on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, on Highway 99, near milepost 8.
Jackson County, OR – One person was killed after a vehicle crashed on Highway 99 in Jackson County Tuesday afternoon, according to Oregon State Police (OSP).
The OSP identified the deceased driver as Katrina Ann Knight, a 59-year-old Grant Pass resident.
The deadly crash happened at about 2:50 p.m. on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, on Highway 99, near milepost 8.
Investigators said Katrina Knight was driving a Ford Ranger southbound on 99 when, for some reason, the vehicle left the roadway, rolled, and struck a utility pole.
Knight suffered fatal injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.
The highway was shut down for approximately one hour as OSP and ODOT investigated the incident.
OSP was assisted by ODOT.
